2016-2018: Serenity Renewal for Families
Sister Louise Dunn embodies the spirit of Serenity Renewal. 33 years ago she was called to serve families in distress. Today, she continues to offer hope and support for those affected by addiction in Ottawa.
Please take the time to view our 12-minute documentary featuring former clients, volunteers, colleagues and staff of Serenity Renewal sharing their personal experiences about this very special woman and the organization she co-founded. We appreciate your feedback.
2007 OECTA Ottawa Charity Update:
Eleven years ago in 2007, OECTA Ottawa’s charity was Help Lesotho, a local Ottawa charity working in Lesotho. Lesotho is a small country found on the mountain in the heart of South Africa. In a little over two years OCSB teachers raised $120 000 to build a community centre in rural Pitseng. Please see the attached The Difference You Have Made Pitseng Centre, 10th Anniversary Report to see how your generous donations have benefitted and continue to benefit this deserving community.
